More than 1.5 thousand families were affected by flooding in Colombia

In Colombia, as a result of flooding caused by heavy rains, the city of Cucuta suffered more than 1.5 thousand families, November 19, according to TeleSUR TV channel.

The flood occurred as a result of the flooding of the La Tonchala river, on which Cucuta is located. According to local authorities, the disaster completely destroyed 77 houses, six people were killed and eight were missing.

According to the TV channel, emergency departments evacuated residents of several neighboring districts.
