Hungary received the first batch of Russian vaccine against coronavirus

Hungary received the first batch of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

This was announced by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Siyjarto.

According to him, the plane with Russian vaccines arrived in Budapest on Thursday, November 19.

According to Reuters, the European Commission has warned the member states of the European Union against purchasing unlicensed vaccines.

The Russian vaccine must obtain a special permit from the European Medicines Agency before it can be sold in any of the EU countries.
