It is reported by Sky News.

Frederick Adomako-Frimpong of Stratford, east London, was among dozens of people who were given a flat penalty notice at Wimbledon’s World Court Friday for not wearing a face mask on public transport in July.

The court stated that the man did not provide “any reasonable excuse” for not wearing a mask at the Stratford bus station on 15 July.

Adomako-Frimpong was stopped again by the transport company the next day for the same reason.

He was awarded a general fine of £1,710 for offenses after failing to pay a fixed notice of a £100 fine within 28 days.

The day before, more than 33,000 confirmed coronavirus infections were registered in Britain, which is the highest figure since the beginning of the epidemic.
