Czech President Milos Zeman considers the attempt of the Czech Senate to impeach him stupid. He stated this on June 10 in an interview with the radio station “Frequency 1”.
“I don’t do stupid things,” the head of the republic said.
As previously reported, on June 2, the chairman of the security committee of the upper house of the Czech Senate, Pavel Fischer, said that the legislature plans to discuss the impeachment of Zeman. On June 3, the Czech Parliament held a meeting on a vote of no confidence in the government of the republic. The vote ended inconclusively.
