Several deaths were recorded in Slovakia after vaccination against COVID-19

Among 8,286 cases of adverse reactions after vaccination against coronavirus in Slovakia, four deaths were recorded, according to the website of the State Institute for Drug Control.

“To date, we have registered a total of four deaths as a result of vaccination, of which in three cases the connection was determined as possible after the vaccines Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech — ed.), Spikevax (Moderna), and Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and one as probable (after the Vaxzevria vaccine),” the report says.

It is noted that in other recorded cases, the connection with vaccination was excluded. In total, after the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, 3,881 cases of adverse reactions were recorded, Moderna — 1088, and AstraZeneca-3023.

Earlier, the New England Journal of Medicine reported that the Pfizer vaccine slightly increases the likelihood of heart diseases, including myocarditis.

The study was conducted by Israeli and American scientists who compared the probability of a specific disease in vaccinated and unvaccinated people. The same study was conducted among those who had and had not had COVID-19.
