During the day in the country, almost 4.5 thousand cases of coronavirus were revealed, while the previous mark was almost 700 cases less.
The day before, 4,457 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the Czech Republic — a record increase since the beginning of the epidemic in the country. It was reported by Ceske Noviny on Wednesday, October 7.
At the same time, the new indicator of infections exceeds the previous anti record by almost 700 cases.
In total, since the beginning of the epidemic in the Czech Republic, more than 90 thousand cases of infection with coronavirus have been revealed.
On the eve of the epidemic, 13 people died of COVID-19, in total 794 people died since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are now more than 40 thousand active cases of coronavirus in the Czech Republic. Most of the disease has a mild course, 3.8% of those infected are in hospitals.
We would like to remind you that earlier in the Czech Republic an emergency regime was introduced. This year, the emergency regime was already in force in the Czech Republic from March 12 to May 17.
