The Italian resort itself can not cope with forest fires and ask for help from the EU

The European Commission clarified that we are talking about Canadair devices.
“For several hours, a large area in the province of Oristano was on its knees because of a devastating fire. Hundreds of people were evacuated, and the entire area, including houses, was engulfed in flames and damaged. We continue to follow the events. Forward, Oristano, forward, Sardinia!”, — Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio wrote on his FB.
Recall that in early July, Cyprus faced large-scale forest fires. The authorities of this country were also forced to turn to their European friends for help.
