According to him, we are talking about the restoration of exclusively peaceful infrastructure
US President Joe Biden said at a press conference at the White House that his country will help restore the infrastructure of the Gaza Strip, which was damaged during the recent Israeli military operation.
According to him, it will be about restoring exclusively peaceful infrastructure, and not objects used by Palestinian groups for military purposes.
“It will be about an aid package to restore Gaza,” he said.
Biden added that he “prays that it will last” — referring to the truce reached by Israel and the Palestinians from Gaza.
The US president suggested that until all countries recognize the right of the Jewish state of Israel to exist, “there will be no peace,” he commented on the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier we wrote, the Israel Defense Forces reported that the Israeli military during the fighting in the Gaza Strip killed more than 150 terrorist fighters, mostly from Hamas.
Recall that the ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas militants came into force at 2 am on Friday. More than 200 people have been killed in 11 days of armed conflict, most of them in the Gaza Strip.
