“The US military has begun withdrawing from Afghanistan,” the American TV channel said.
Earlier it was reported that the US military will destroy some equipment and weapons that will remain in Kabul after the evacuation of American troops. Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby stressed that American troops would have done the same in any other place on the planet as part of the withdrawal of their contingent.
The United States must complete the evacuation of all its citizens who are in Afghanistan by August 31. At the same time, American President Joe Biden announced the possibility of extending the terms.
