The number of victims of COVID-19 approaches a million

As of Saturday morning, there are more than 32 million people infected worldwide. Of these, almost 989 thousand died.

As of Saturday morning, September 26, more than 32.5 million people have become infected with coronavirus in the world, more than 988 thousand have died. Such data are reported by the Center for Systems Research and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

In total, 32,562,792 people were infected in the world, of which 22,486,565 recovered. The number of deaths increased to 988,889 people.

Most cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the United States (7,033,430), India (5,903,932), Brazil (4,689,613), Russia (1,131,088), Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Spain, and Argentina.

The largest number of deaths among the countries of the world was recorded in the USA (203,775), Brazil (140,537), India (93,379), Mexico (75,844), and the UK (42,025).
