The leader of the DPRK held a “coronavirus” meeting of the Politburo

During the meeting, issues of more intensive conduct of state anti-epidemic work were discussed.

The head of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Jong-un has convened the 18th Politburo meeting on the spread of COVID-19. This was announced on Wednesday, September 30, by the Korea Central Telegraph Agency.

“At the meeting of the Politburo, some shortcomings arising in the work to suppress the threat of the spread of a malignant virus were noted, the relevant issues on more intensive conduct of state emergency anti-epidemic work were deeply investigated and discussed,” the message says.

In addition, the meeting participants discussed the problem of eliminating natural disasters and took practical measures to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the party.

Recall that in North Korea,  infection was suspected in a person who illegally entered the country. He was placed in strict quarantine.
