The French Interior Ministry estimated the number of protesters

32,000 people took part in Saturday’s protests in France. This is reported by BFM TV with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

Of these, five thousand people took to the streets in Paris. Across the country, 35 people were detained, 28-in the capital.

It was reported that the police used water cannons and tear against the protesters.

On January 30, a new rally against the draft law “On Global Security” began in Paris. According to the agency, for almost three months, demonstrations have been held in against the bill, the use of drones by the police at protests, and the “ban on filming police actions” during demonstrations.
