In the afternoon of October 27, unknown persons committed a terrorist attack in a mosque in the city of Peshawar. The explosion occurred when about 500 students gathered inside to listen to a lecture by Mufti Rahimullah Haqqani.
The explosion killed ten people and injured over a hundred. Most of the victims are young people between the ages of 20 and 30. According to preliminary data, an explosive device went off in the lecture hall, hidden in a bag that the attackers brought there early in the morning. Bearings were used as striking elements.
