US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused China of obstructing the work of WHO and the fact that the effectiveness of Chinese vaccines against coronavirus has not been confirmed.
“The Chinese Communist Party continues to spread misinformation about the virus and interfere with WHO’s an investigation into its origin and spread. It also promotes vaccines for which important safety and efficacy data are lacking, ” the report said.
COVID-19 will be defeated by “the US and other free countries such as Germany and the UK,” added the secretary of state.
As reported, a team of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) will travel to China in January to search for the source of the coronavirus.
