More than 30 million people in Germany received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine

More than 30 million people in Germany have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of the morning of May 15.

This was announced on Twitter by Health Minister Jens Spahn.

According to him, now more than 30 million Germans, which is 36.5% of the population, are vaccinated at least once.

More than 9 million (10.9%) received two doses and are now fully protected.

Recall, the German Bundestag on May 6 approved the decree of the government of the country on the rights for those who received full vaccinations against COVID-19 or suffered from this disease.

It is planned, in particular, to cancel the curfew and restrictions on social contacts for these categories of persons.

On the same day, Germany opened the possibility of vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine for all adults to speed up the vaccination process.
