Massacre in Paris: the second attacker detained

Both suspects in the attack were detained, it is reported that the second attacker is of Indian-Pakistani origin. The prosecutor’s office opened a case under the article about the terrorist attack.

Law enforcement officers detained in Paris the second suspect in the attack on passers-by near the former editorial office of the satirical publication Charlie Hebdo. On Friday, September 25, Le Figaro reports.

It is noted that at 13:30 the second suspect was detained near the Richard Lenoir metro station by a brigade of the railway network.

According to preliminary data, the detainee is of Indian-Pakistani origin.

Both suspects were taken into custody.

In the meantime, the prosecutor’s office opened an investigation into an attempted murder with a terrorist purpose and participation in a criminal terrorist association.

The attack reportedly took place in the morning in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, near Boulevard Richard Lenoir, where the Charlie Hebdo editorial office used to be. The attacker wounded four people, two of them were in serious condition.

We will remind, as a result of an armed attack on the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo on January 7, 2015, 12 people were killed. The attack was carried out by the brother’s Sheriff and Said Kouashi, who declared their affiliation to the al-Qaeda group. They were killed during a special operation.
