Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko named the main conditions for his departure from the presidency.
According to BelTA, he said this during his speech at the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
“There is peace, the order in the country, no protest actions, do not turn the country upside down, express an opinion within the framework of the law,” Lukashenko said.
He also noted that the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly should be a stabilizer for the transitional period and have constitutional powers.
“We must have a clear safety net so as not to lose the country,” Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko also spoke about the preparation of the draft of the new Constitution.
