Kevin Spacey returned to the cinema after accusations of harassment

Due to numerous accusations of harassment, Spacey stopped being offered new film roles, and he became persona non grata.

62-year-old actor Kevin Spacey, who was previously accused of sexual harassment, is returning to the cinema. He got a role in the film Peter Five Eight and has already started working. Paparazzi photographed the actor on the set in California.

The details of the project are not yet known to us. According to eyewitnesses, Spacey is incredibly happy to return to the cinema: he is completely immersed in work and spends all his free time on the set. After the end of filming, the actor is waiting for the next project — he previously agreed to participate in the Italian film “L’Uomo Che Disegno Dio”.

Recall that in October 2017, Spacey was at the center of a loud scandal. Actor Anthony Rapp publicly spoke about harassment by Spacey (at the time of the incident, Rapp was 14 years old). According to him, the incident occurred at a party at Spacey’s house. He tried to persuade the young man to have sex, but Rapp ran into the bathroom and then left the apartment.

Spacey had to make a public apology to Rapp, but it didn’t help: scenes involving an actor from a new Ridley Scott film a month before the premiere, in addition, Spacey was fired from the series “House of Cards”, and police in the United States and Great Britain began investigating.

During the investigation, more than 20 men, including actor Guy Pearce, about Spacey’s inappropriate behavior. And although in June 2019, the Massachusetts prosecutor’s office withdrew the charges against Spacey, it was not possible to restore the reputation of the actor, the winner of many honorary awards, including the Oscar. Due to accusations of harassment, Spacey stopped being offered new film roles, and he became persona non grata. The actor’s condition is related to the situation of people who became unemployed due to the  pandemic.
