In the European Union, 90 million adults have now been fully vaccinated – about a quarter of the EU’s adult population. This was announced on Twitter by the official representative of the European Commission, Dana Spinant.
“The latest news on the supply of vaccines and vaccination in the EU. Steady progress! To date, 90 million adults in the EU have been fully vaccinated – that’s about a quarter of the EU adult population, ” Spinant wrote.
One hundred former presidents, prime ministers, and foreign ministers have called on the rich countries of the Group of Seven (G7) to provide coronavirus vaccination for the poor around the world.
