The Swedish prosecutor’s office has charged a 47-year-old citizen of the country with espionage in favor of . He collected and passed information to a Russian diplomat for a monetary reward, according to the Swedish Prosecutor’s Office.

“While working as a consultant at a previous job, he received materials for the purpose of providing information to a foreign state, in this case — Russia,” said Prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist.
