Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef issued a statement asking Jews not to resort to violence against Arab citizens.
“Innocent Israeli civilians are being attacked by terrorist organizations, blood is running hot, and our hearts are outraged… But we cannot be drawn to provocations, to harm people or damage property, “ he says.
He adds that the Torah does not allow you to take the law into your own hands.
