More than 60% of voters in the U.S. have a positive assessment of President Joe Biden in the first days after taking office as head of state. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by The Hill together with the company HarrisX.
Thus, 63% of respondents support the overall performance of Biden as president. At the same time, it is positively assessed by 94% of Democrats surveyed. The overall performance of the Democrat is opposed by 70% of survey participants among Republicans.
Respondents also rated Biden’s performance in certain aspects. For example, in the issue of foreign affairs, the activities of the new American leader were supported by 60% of voters, while in the fight against the coronavirus — 69%. Poll participants voiced the same level of support for the president (61%) in aspects of the economy, job creation, and the fight against terrorism. However, on the issue of migration, 57% of respondents approved of the White House leader’s work.
Participants in the survey, which was conducted online on January 21-22, included 941 people.
