Terrorists still occupy parts of Syria and plan to continue the war, the president said.
The war in Syria is not over until some territories of the country are occupied by terrorists. This was stated by the President of the country Bashar Assad.
“While terrorists occupy some areas of our country and commit various crimes and murders, the war is not over. And I think that their leaders intend to make it so that it continues for a long time,” Assad said.
The armed conflict in Syria has been going on since 2011. During this time, about 400 thousand people died, almost 7 million left the country, some of them have already returned.
