Apple employees will return to work in the offices no earlier than January 2022. That’s what AppleInsider reports.
Yesterday, Apple management informed its employees that the return to the offices will take place next year in January. This decision was made because of the growing number of COVID-19 cases and the rapid spread of new variants of the virus.
For the second time in the last three months, the company is postponing the return of employees to the offices. At first, the plan was to resume offline work as early as September. In June, CEO Tim Cook noted that it would be possible to visit the office three times a week in the fall. Subsequently, the return date was pushed back to October. And now it has become known that working remotely will be until at least January 2022.
The company promised that they would give their employees a month’s notice to return to the offices.
It should be noted that the Apple Stores were left open. To visit the outlets are allowed only with masks.
