A sharp increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Turkey

The daily increase in cases of  in Turkey amounted to 19,761 cases on July 27. This was written on by the head of the Ministry of Health of the country, Fahrettin Koja.

“We have achieved an increase in the number of cases, which raises concerns about the control of the epidemic,” the minister said.

Since the beginning of July, the incidence rate in the country has increased by 4.5 times.

The day before, the Turkish Ministry of Health reported 16,809 cases of  infection over the past day. The statistics became the highest daily indicator for the republic since May 8. 5,585 people recovered.
