One person died and nine others were injured in a series of knife attacks in south London.

Police reported five knife incidents in the Croydon area. An investigation is underway to determine whether the attacks are related. The first of the attacks occurred shortly before 19.00 on Friday, the last after 21.00.
“Unfortunately, tonight we saw a series of unnecessary and completely hideous violent clashes, including one that led to death,” — said Detective Nicky Arrowsmith.
Two victims are in serious condition.
At the moment, two men have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the attacks.
The police have increased their presence in the area where the attacks took place.
