The plane with the Turkish Defense Minister on board made an emergency landing

The plane carrying the head of the Turkish Defense Ministry, Hulusi Akar, made an emergency landing in the south of the republic after a collision with a bird. This is stated in the material of the Anadolu agency on Monday, July 26.

Akar conducted an inspection of the deployed units of the Turkish Armed Forces in the province of Kilis, which is located on the Syrian border. After work, the Defense Minister, together with the highest Turkish military leaders, flew out of Gaziantep. However, the plane collided with a bird in the sky, which is why it urgently landed at the airport in Adana.

Together with Akar, the governor of the Kilis Gaziantep province, Davut Gul, was also on board, the material clarifies. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

Earlier, the Belavia airliner operated a flight from Minsk to Antalya but changed its course to Moscow. The pressure sensor on the plane went off. The aircraft landed at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport on Monday morning. There were 207 people on board the plane, including seven crew members.
