WHO assesses the effectiveness of school closures in the fight against COVID

School closures do little to combat the coronavirus, so they should be reopened, a WHO expert said.

Hansa Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, assessed the effectiveness of school closures in the fight against COVID-19. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.

“School closures do little to fight infection, so they should be reopened. Children in difficult life situations are most affected,” Kluge said.

Earlier, the Minister of Education told how children will study after the holidays. After the holidays, the format of training in educational institutions will depend on the epidemic zone in which the settlement is located.
