Messenger WhatsApp postpones the implementation of the update of the user agreement, which caused a resonance among users of the application. This was reported on the blog of the messenger.
“We are postponing the date when users will be asked to review and accept the terms (of the user agreement update),” the messenger, which is owned by Facebook, said in a statement.
The statement stresses that none of the users will be blocked or deleted on February 8. As the messenger notes, the deadline for the implementation of the update was moved from February 8 to May 15.
Earlier, WhatsApp updated the user agreement, introducing a clause on the transfer of personal data to Facebook, which drew criticism from users of the messenger.
