Film producer Harvey Weinstein has refused to plead guilty to 11 allegations of sexual harassment. It is reported by Fox News.
The hearing was held in Los Angeles. The producer was charged with four counts of rape and seven others of other sexual offenses. These relate to the five women Weinstein molested between 2004 and 2013. Among the charges: four counts of “forcible oral intercourse,” four of “rape,” two of “battery,” and one of “sexual penetration by force.”
The producer did not plead guilty to any of the above charges. If the court finds the producer guilty on all counts, he could face up to 140 years in prison.
In March 2020, the New York State Supreme Court sentenced Weinstein to 23 years in prison for raping and forcing oral sex on assistant Miriam Haley and for raping stylist Jessica Mann.
