Police in the German state of Lower Saxony is investigating an incident with vaccine substitution with saline in one of the vaccination centers.
This is reported by EUR News, citing DW.
An employee of the center explained that she had replaced an ampoule of BioNTech/Pfizer that had broken.
About 200 people were vaccinated that day and six were injected with saline.
Antibody tests will help determine exactly who was vaccinated.
The event did not endanger the health of visitors to the center, authorities stressed.
