This was announced by German Health Minister Jens Spahn, reports swissinfo.ch.
The minister expects the EU to register a vaccine from AstraZeneca, which has already been approved in the UK, in the near future.
However, Jens Spahn said that the current epidemiological situation does not yet allow a return to normal life.
Earlier it was reported that the registration in the European Union of the vaccine against COVID-19, developed by AstraZeneca, is delayed.
The European Medicines Administration has yet to receive an application from AstraZeneca, so the drug will likely not receive approval in January. European regulators have received only limited information about the vaccine so far.
