Trump rejected Biden’s accusations of delaying COVID-19 vaccination of the U.S. population

U.S. President-elect rejected President-elect Joe Biden’s claims about preparation. He stated on his account that the states are responsible for its distribution.

Biden had previously said that the federal government was falling behind on its own plans to vaccinate the population and that the process would take years at this rate.

“The distribution of vaccines already delivered to a designated location by the federal government is up to the states. Not only have we developed vaccines, including giving money to move the process forward quickly, but we have also delivered them to the states,” Trump wrote.

Trump also noted that Biden “failed with swine flu,” referring to the flu pandemic when Biden was vice president of the United States.
