Thus, the United States ranks first in the number of cases of infection and deaths associated with COVID-19. During the pandemic, over 14.3 million infected people were diagnosed in the country. More than 280 thousand people have died of coronavirus. Almost 8.5 million of the sick have recovered.

India is in second place in terms of coronavirus infections — over 9.5 million infections have been detected there. More than 138 thousand infected people have died. At the same time, India has a high recovery rate — almost 9 million cases have already been cured.

The third place in the detected cases of infection is occupied by Brazil — more than 6.4 million cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded in the country, the number of deaths among those infected exceeds 174 thousand. In Brazil, as well as in India, there is a high rate of recovery from coronavirus infection — almost 5.7 million people in the country have been ill.
