The WHO told when the coronavirus will be brought under control

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that the  pandemic will be brought under control in the coming months.





“We have the tools to bring this pandemic under control within a few months if we apply them consistently and in a balanced way,” Ghebreyesus said.

At the same time, the head of the WHO noted that he is concerned about the “alarming rate” of the spread of coronavirus in the world, among the age group of people from 25 to 59 years;

Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) extended the emergency regime in the field of world health for three months.

In the world, 142 million people have become infected with the coronavirus, and more than three million patients have died. The first place in the world for the spread of the virus is the United States (32 million cases and 581 thousand deaths). This is followed by (15 million cases and 179 thousand deaths), (almost 14 million cases and 373 thousand deaths), and (five million cases and 100 thousand deaths). A record number of cases have been identified over the past week.
