The process of withdrawing American troops is still ongoing. Materials equivalent to about 984 C-17 aircraft were taken out of Afghanistan.
The United States has withdrawn more than 90% of its troops from Afghanistan. Seven objects were transferred to the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan. This is reported by the press service of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).
“The process of withdrawal of troops continues. According to the assessment of the Central Command, we have completed the withdrawal process by more than 90%,” the report says.
The ministry added that the United States took out materials from Afghanistan equivalent to about 984 C-17 aircraft. More than 17 thousand pieces of equipment were also transferred to the Logistics Agency of the Ministry of Defense for disposal.
“Most of this equipment does not belong to defensive means and is not considered the main equipment,” CENTCOM noted.
Recall that US troops left the largest base in Afghanistan.
