The European Parliament has published a draft of sanctions against Belarus

MEPs in the resolution on intend to call for the immediate introduction of the fourth package of personal on the republic, the draft document says.

The parliamentarians will also call for the next package of restrictions to be prepared and the broadest economic to be adopted, which should affect oil and petroleum products, potash, steel, and woodworking industries.

The EP also calls for the termination of cooperation and financing of Belarusian state banks and suggests considering the temporary suspension of  ‘ participation in the SWIFT system.

MEPs will vote on the draft resolution on on Thursday, June 10. The decision of the European Parliament is not binding and is of a recommendatory nature for the EU countries.
