The European Commission said that the third wave of coronavirus has begun in Europe.
This was said during a briefing in Brussels by the official representative of the European Commission Dana Spinant.
“We see a third wave, which is coming gradually or even quickly in various EU countries. We see the need to accelerate the vaccination of the population,” said Dana Spinant.
She acknowledged that the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic has already come to Europe and is developing at different rates in different countries of the European Union. Also, this wave with new strains that have not yet been fully studied by scientists.
