SpaceX will launch a new batch of Starlink satellites into orbit on March 14

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle will launch a batch of 60 Starlink Internet satellites into orbit on Sunday, March 14. This is stated in a message published on March 13 on the SpaceX company’s Twitter page.

The launch is scheduled to take place from Launch Complex 39A of the Kennedy Space Center in the US state of Florida at 06:01 East Coast time.

In 8.5 minutes after the launch, the first reusable stage of the rocket will have to make a controlled vertical landing on the automatic marine platform, Of Course, I Still Love You, which is located in the Atlantic about 630 km from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral.

Since May 2019, 21 launches have been carried out. The previous launch took place on March 11. The launch was originally scheduled for March 9. However, due to additional checks, the start was postponed a few hours before the scheduled time.

Earlier, on February 28, it canceled the launch of a Falcon 9 launch vehicle with 60 Starlink microsatellites 1 minute 24 seconds before the scheduled launch.
