At least seven people, including one police officer, were killed in a shooting near a synagogue in downtown Vienna. This was reported by the Kurier newspaper.
It also notes that four people were seriously injured in the shootings. Vienna’s center is currently cordoned off, and residents are asked not to leave their homes and avoid open areas.
According to preliminary data, there were two offenders. One blew himself up, while the other is on the run. Eyewitnesses said they heard at least 50 shots.
Shots were fired on the evening of 2 November in Vienna. It was reported that it was carried out at several points in the city, including a restaurant, a synagogue, and a Jewish center. The Jewish community noted that there were no casualties among the association members.
