Seven Britons died of blood clots after the AstraZeneca vaccine

Seven people have died in the UK due to blood clots after being vaccinated with a drug from the Anglo-Swedish company AstraZeneca. This was reported by the newspaper (MARCA), citing data from the British medical regulator MHRA.




“Of the 30 cases in our statement, seven [people] have unfortunately died,” the statement said.

The regulator noted that no such cases were recorded in those who received the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine. Earlier it was reported that in Britain, 30 cases of thrombosis were detected after the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

It was specified that in the kingdom as of March 24, 18.1 million doses of the drug for the coronavirus infection AstraZeneca were administered. Prior to this, the German Paul Ehrlich Institute recorded 31 cases of thrombosis after vaccination against CAVID-19 with Vaxzevria from AstraZeneca.
