Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the state of Russian-Czech relations during a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. This is reported on the website of the Kremlin’s press service.
“At the request of Emmanuel Macron, Vladimir Putin commented on the current state of Russian-Czech relations, emphasizing the absurd nature of the accusations made by Prague against Russia and the actions taken,” the report said.
As a result of the conversation, organized on the initiative of the French side, the state leaders agreed to continue a regular dialogue on topical issues of the international and bilateral agenda, the press service said.
Earlier it became known that on April 26, the French president called the Russian leader by phone. During the conversation, Putin and Macron discussed the conflict in Ukraine, Nagorno-Karabakh, and the situation with the mutual expulsion of diplomats.
