Protests erupt again in the U.S. after a black man killed by a cop

A police officer shot and killed an unarmed black man who was in someone else’s garage at night.

A police officer in the U.S. city of Columbus shot and killed an unarmed black man, he was suspended, and local residents staged a protest, CNN reported.

The cop reportedly received a call from a neighbor who reported a car engine noise from his garage. When the cop arrived on the scene, he saw the entrance to one of the garages was open.

A dark-skinned man approached him from there. The police officer then ran a few feet away and fired. The man died at the scene.

The police officer was suspended during the investigation.

Protesters gathered at the scene of the murder of 47-year-old Andre Maurice Hill.
