Prime Minister Eswatini dies of coronavirus

For the first time in the world, one of the leaders of the state has died of the coronavirus. The 52-year-old Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini became the victim of the infection.

The Prime Minister of the African Kingdom, Eswatini Mandvulo Ambrose Dlamini, at the age of 53, died after contracting COVID-19. The politician died in a hospital in South Africa, where he was hospitalized after a sharp deterioration in health, writes the Daily Mail.

The politician was diagnosed with the coronavirus in mid-November. On November 16, he announced that the test was positive. Then he noted that he felt satisfactory. However, in early December, his health deteriorated sharply and he was taken to a hospital in a neighboring state “in order to speed up his recovery.”

Dlamini died two weeks after his hospitalization.

King Eswatini Mswati III expressed his condolences over the death of the politician.

Eswatini is a small landlocked country in southern Africa. She is one of the last absolute monarchies in the world.
