Poland won in the Stockholm court against Russia in a lawsuit over gas prices. The court dismissed Gazprom’s complaint against a partial decision on the gas price in the Yamal contract.
The Yamal contract, which provides for annual supplies of up to ten billion cubic meters of gas to Poland, was signed in 1996 and is valid until 2022. In the summer of 2018, PGNiG received from Stockholm the right to demand a reduction in the price of Russian gas.
