Poland announced the prevention of a terrorist attack against Muslims

The suspects in the preparation of the attack were against the Islamization of Poland, reports in Warsaw.

Polish special services prevented a terrorist attack on a Muslim religious site. This was announced on Monday, January 4, by the press secretary of the Minister of the Coordinator of the Polish Intelligence Services Stanislav Zharin, TVN24 reports.

According to the announced data, the attack should have been committed “on a specific object of the religious cult of the Islamic community, and it was also planned to spray poisonous substances.”

The suspects are said to have been “against the Islamization of Poland.”

“The prosecutor’s office sent an indictment to the court at the end of the investigation … against the suspects, in particular, for preparing for a crime, which is to create a situation that poses a threat to the life or health of many people,” Jarin said.

Several people were reportedly detained. During the investigation, explosives were seized, four firearms, including a homemade automatic pistol and ammunition, as well as products and tools that allow the production of hazardous materials and substances.

The accused face up to 10 years in prison.
