U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has notified that members of Congress will continue to work on certifying the presidential election, CNN reports.
She said it had been decided to resume work on certifying the electoral votes “tonight.”
On January 6, supporters of incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Congress building, disrupting a session that was to certify the results of the past election. Police said an adult woman who was shot during the Capitol riot died. Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser ordered a curfew.
