Police in Paris used gas and detained more than 20 protesters against the bill “On global security”. The demonstration began peacefully.
It soon became known that up to three cars had been burned during the rallies.
Protests in France began against the backdrop of the fact that the National Assembly deputies supported an article of the draft law “On global security”, which criminalizes the dissemination of facial images or other elements of identification of police or gendarme representative with the aim of harming him. For this, a punishment of one year of imprisonment and a fine of 45 thousand euros is threatened.
