New quarantine restrictions will also affect the suburbs of the French capital

France declared Paris and its suburbs a zone of maximum danger due to the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.

The corresponding decision was made by the French government, reports AFP.

According to the agency, the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, will announce the new restrictive measures on Monday, October 5, at a press conference.

As the publication clarifies, after the introduction of new quarantine restrictions, higher educational institutions will accept only 50% of students, and catering establishments will remain open, subject to strengthening sanitary measures. …

The new quarantine measures will be in effect for 15 days.

Note that over the last day in France, 12,565 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were detected.
