This figure rose sharply: just a day before that, 22,950 cases were reported in the country, which is almost one and a half times less.
Thus, the total number of infected during the entire pandemic in the kingdom exceeded 1.29 million.
In addition to the fact that this country is leading in Europe in terms of the number of victims of the pandemic, on Wednesday the death toll from complications caused by a coronavirus in Britain exceeded 50 thousand. Of these, 595 died on November 11, the highest figure since May 12.
Recall that due to the new wave of coronavirus, thousands of operations have been canceled in UK hospitals in order to leave free beds for patients with COVID-19. Medical institutions fear the depletion of bed resources.
